I began writing at age 30 when my husband and I separated.  It was cathartic and I needed the distraction - and yes, that's how I thought of it back then.  Little did I know that writing would become the all-consuming passion in my life -- after kids, housework and of course the 8-to-5.  Okay, the all-consuming passion had some competition.  Twenty-eight years later it still does.

I was born in Texas but I was raised in Nevada.  Nevada will always be home to me, but I don’t see myself ever returning.  Today I live in California although I don’t think I’ll be here forever either.  I guess I’m a wonderer at heart. 

I have two great children and eight terrific grandchildren.  I'm a Business Consultant living in Sacramento, California, a member of the Sacramento Valley Rose Chapter of RWA and now I'm the owner of this great website (thank you Rae).
