I began writing at age 30 when my husband and I separated.  It was cathartic and I needed the distraction - and yes, that's how I thought of it back then.  Little did I know that writing would become the all-consuming passion in my life -- after kids, housework and of course the 8-to-5.  Okay, the all-consuming passion had some competition.  Years later it still does.

I was born in Texas but I was raised in Nevada.  Nevada will always be home to me, but I don’t see myself ever returning.  Today I live in California although I don’t think I’ll be there forever either.  Lately I’m spending a LOT of time on the east coast for my day job – Connecticut to be exact.  It’s fabulous and I love it.  I wouldn’t be at all surprised if I were to become an east-coaster.

I have two great children and eight terrific grandchildren.  I'm a Business Consultant and  romance writer incognito.  I’m a member of several RWA chapters including, New England (Massachusetts) Chapter, Capital Region (Albany, NY) Chapter and Charter Oak (Connecticut) RWA.
